Volunteer Opportunities
The Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area has a variety of Volunteer Opportunities throughout the Heritage Area for individuals and groups. Volunteers will have the option to use certain skills for specific volunteer positions or just a desire to give back to the community. Volunteering for the Heritage Area allows you the opportunity to preserve and maintain historical landmarks, State Parks and trails along the Riverfront that are used by our community. If volunteer is 18 and under, a written consent by a parent or legal guardian is required.
Please see volunteer opportunities below. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at yumacrossing@yumaaz.gov
Benefits of Service: After 40 hours of volunteer service, the volunteer receives a Yuma Crossing National Heritage Area Volunteer Park Pass, as well as an Arizona State Parks and Trails Volunteer Pass for free day-use entry to any Arizona State Park (excludes tours, camping, or special events).
